Literature required for meetings will be freely available for use during the meeting on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Literature is not required for the Friday meeting. Please do not take the shared meeting literature; it should be returned when the meeting is closed.
A variety of conference approved literature can be purchased at any Nuts and Bolts meeting; please wait until the meeting closes, then ask to speak to the literature chair.
Nuts and Bolts stocks a variety of newcomer pamphlets which discuss common questions about alcoholism; these can be found in the meeting areas by the literature for sale.
Nuts and Bolts strongly encourages obtaining a personal copy of the following books:
- Alcoholics Anonymous (the Big Book)
- Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions (the 12 & 12)
- As Bill Sees It
These books can be purchased at Nuts and Bolts meetings as described above. They can also be found on many e-commerce sites, as well as on the A.A. homepage. The A.A. homepage also contains literature that may not be available for purchase at Nuts and Bolts.
